In 2025, Dap23 partnered with IceBlue Marketing and Design to transform Metal Assemblies’ digital presence by converting curious visitors into loyal customers.

Collaborating on this project enabled us to use each other's specialist knowledge, IceBlue Marketing and Design, creating the written and dap the photography and video content, enriching the new website they were developing.

Working alongside Stuart Matthew and Seliesha Cowley at IceBlue Marketing and Design, we planned the content we needed to create and liaised with the client to understand their business and requirements. The client expressed that their key goal was to create an engaging digital experience that tells their brand's story and connects with viewers on a personal level. This understanding guided our creative direction and ensured the content aligned perfectly with their vision.

We wanted the content to tell stories that would resonate with the audience, capturing the process, people, and professionalism in a way that would instil trust in their craftsmanship. Our goal was to evoke a sense of connection and authenticity, prompting viewers to appreciate the dedication and expertise behind every aspect of their work.

We arranged two full-day on-location shoots. There was a lot to capture, and we wanted to ensure we covered everything.

Working to the plan, we set up each shot first for the photo and, when required, then for video.

We worked as efficiently as possible to minimise disruption to the production process. Careful planning enabled us to achieve this, keeping production downtime under 15 minutes per setup. This rigorous approach helped maintain the smooth flow of our operations.

We used a mix of video shots, including gimbal, slider, and static shots, depending on the application. In one specific application, we saw that the best shot was overhead. We then mounted a camera on an overhead rig to capture the shot.

All images were retouched and edited, then sent to Stuart at IceBlue Marketing and Design in a usable format for website design.
