As video producers and experienced marketers, we naturally know a thing or two about video marketing.

First, it’s important to understand why video marketing is essential to marketing your business. Video's ability to capture attention and convey messages makes it an excellent marketing tool. It can breathe life into brands and develop emotional connections that in time, will increase sales and drive growth.

Harnessing this power requires an understanding of what content works where and why. This is where we can help. Not only do we produce inspiring videos, but we also help ensure that you have the correct strategy and that it reaches and connects with your audience.

Defining a video marketing strategy.

When planning a video marketing strategy, we define clear objectives and a target audience. Understanding the video's objective and the intended viewers' needs establishes the foundation for a successful strategy.

The questions you need to answer are: What problems are you solving, for whom, and where can they be found in marketing terms?

Once the purpose and audience have been identified, it's essential to consider the types of videos that best communicate the intended message, whether educational, promotional, or branding-focused. Crafting a cohesive narrative that aligns with the brand's voice and values ensures consistency across all video content.

Determining the distribution channels and the frequency of video releases also helps maximise reach and engagement. Lastly, setting measurable key performance indicators (KPIs) allows for evaluating the video strategy's effectiveness and provides insights for continual improvement.

A creative meeting enables us to discuss the video's objectives and define a narrative. This is essential to the video production process and, ultimately, the success of your campaign.

Filming…

Filming a video is a meticulous yet invigorating process that requires careful planning and execution.

Our experienced crew considers each shot in terms of camera angles, lighting, and sound. Behind the scenes, the production team works tirelessly to ensure every detail is impeccable. We have procedures in place to mitigate issues, and planning is one of them.

We film each scene from the approved storyboard. Scripts are rehearsed and delivered, and each shot is examined and signed off before we move on to the next.

We capture high-resolution footage in industry-standard formats, up to 6K in either RAW or compressed 10-bit ProRes. Shooting in broadcast standard gives us enough capacity for options later.

It’s important to remember that filming often takes longer than expected. Depending on the project, we may have one camera operator or a production crew. Everyone is there to ensure we get what we came for: great footage.

The edit..

This is where the magic happens. Editing a video is a creative process that involves weaving together visual and auditory elements to convey a compelling narrative. We begin by organising and selecting the best footage from the raw material, then sequencing it coherently and engagingly. This is followed by adding transitions, effects, and graphics to enhance the visual appeal and convey the intended message. Additionally, the audio elements such as music, sound effects, and voiceovers are integrated to complement the visuals and evoke the desired emotions. A crucial part of editing is ensuring a smooth and seamless flow between scenes and maintaining the overall pacing and timing to keep the audience engaged. Finally, colour correction and grading are applied to achieve a polished and professional look. Video editing requires combining technical expertise and artistic vision to ensure the final product effectively communicates the intended story or message.

The final outputs are rendered depending upon their intended use. We often stick to a broadcast-standard High Definition to ensure ease of storage and compatibility across different media.
