Commercial Photography

As commercial photographers, we take a wide range of commissions. The images we create are primarily used online for websites and as content for digital marketing campaigns.

Whilst our talent is versatile, we specialise in three genres. The promotion of products and services, food and drink and business portraits.

We talk specifically about these on separate pages, but on this page, we discuss how we work, our experience and, more importantly, why we do it.

Product and Services

Creative product photography transforms products using imaginative lighting, composition, and storytelling to captivate and engage audiences, evoke emotions, highlight details, and drive consumer interest, creating a lasting impact on potential customers.

Photography is vital in digital marketing, capturing attention and conveying brand identity, emotion, and professionalism. It influences purchasing decisions and is essential for successful digital marketing strategies.

Food & Drink

In today's digital age, food photography is crucial for social media, food delivery, and culinary culture. It evokes emotions, attracts diners, and is a form of artistic expression. With the rise of food blogging and influencers, high-quality food photography shapes people's perceptions and expectations of food experiences. It creates a sensory experience beyond the plate in the gastronomic landscape.

In today's competitive and interconnected world, establishing a strong personal brand is essential for individuals across various fields and industries. Your personal brand is the unique combination of skills, experiences, and values that you bring to the table. People form opinions about you very quickly, even at the point they first see you. Having a professional business portrait can help them to form the right impression and it plays a crucial role in shaping how others perceive you both personally and professionally.

Business Portraits

“Capturing the essence of your brand through visual storytelling is our specialty. Let us create a narrative that evolves alongside your business, reflecting the beauty of the present moment.”

Why choose us

With 15 years of commercial photography experience and 20 years in corporate marketing, we understand what is required and how to create it. Our clients include Scania Trucks, Mazak, NP Aerospace, Sandvik, OGL, Seco Tools, Mills CNC, Hogarths Stone Manor, and Worcestershire County Council, to name but a few.

Understanding where the image will be used is important and affects the process. Some social media platforms require a different size ratio; for a website, the designer may need dead space for text. Understanding this and having experience working with developers and marketers is essential to ensure the image work.

Why we do it

It’s a bit cliche, but it all stems from having a passion for photography. It’s amazing to be able to make a living doing something you love. Before becoming a photographer, I used to look in awe at some of the photography in magazines and wondered how it was done. I wanted to be able to do that. It’s then the feeling you get when you deliver images like the ones you saw to a client, and they respond immediately, “These are amazing; how did you do that? Thank you”. It’s also about helping people. With portraits clients are often apprehensive, it’s that self-conscious feeling and a fear that they won’t like themselves. It's a great feeling when they see the results of a professionally taken photo and realise they look pretty good.

How it works

We like to keep it simple; therefore, most of our shoots are on-time rate or a package. It starts when you make contact; we will ask for a brief, and we can issue a cost from there.

We will confirm a time and a date that works and make the necessary arrangements. If we need to hire equipment, locations or models, we will ask for an initial payment that covers these costs.

If required, we will start the panning, detailing the shots so that we know what kit is needed and clarifying this with you. We will contact you ahead of the shoot date to confirm.

On the shoot date, we will have a scheduled start time and arrive ahead of time to set up the equipment. On our return, all images will be uploaded and backed up. We shoot raw, so some editing is always required.

We will provide the proofs if these have not been signed off on location. Once these are agreed, we will start the post-production work. We deliver the finished images as jpeg in high resolution and web resolution. Please specify in advance if you require other formats, such as PNG or TIF.

How can we help you.
